"A Vida da Gente" is a Brazilian telenovela that was produced and shown by Rede Globo productions at the 18 hours schedule between September 26th, 2011and  March 2nd, 2012, in 137 chapters, replacing "Cordel Encantado" and replaced by "Amor Eterno Amor". Written by Lícia Manzo e Marcos Bernstein, in collaboration with Álvaro Ramos, Carlos Gregório, Giovana Moraes, Marta Góes, Tati Bernardi, Daniel Adjafre e Dora Castellar, directed by Fabrício Mamberti, Teresa Lampreia, Adriano Melo, Luciano Sabino e Leonardo Nogueira with general direction by Jayme Monjardim e Fabrício Mamberti and produced by Jayme Monjardim, it was the 78th "novela das seis"(6pm slot telenovela) shown by the channel.

 

The telenovela has already been licensed in 98 countries, becoming one of the greatest successes of Rede Globo productions around the world. One of the most  exported telenovelas, only trailing behind "Avenida Brasil" and "Da Cor do Pecado", but surpassing successes such as "Terra Nostra" and "O Clone". Its achievement in new markets even made news in the North-American website Variety.
